A gorgeous day!

It's a new day and it's a beautiful one! There are times we all take this life for granted, I am currently enrolled in 21 college credits and have a job that has late night hours, so when I have my rare night off with nothing to do, I take full advantage. It's my time to relax and enjoy time with my amazing boyfriend who stands by me through everything, I don't know where I would be without him. He's the most amazing man I know and couldn't be happier and enjoy all the time we get together when neither of us are working or when I'm not in class. I have tonight off and plan on doing just that. But for now, before he comes home, a little laundry, a little cleaning, and getting my nails done (trying to pull myself together a little ;)).
And to make this night even more perfect, it's perfect weather out in this beautiful state I get to call home! It's been a crazy winter and it's nice to have a day off from it. Weather moving back in soon, but it looks like rain, which is my all time favorite. There isn't much better than the smell of a good CO rain.

Yes... I get to call this home, and I know how lucky I am! For dinner tonight we are enjoying some shrimp scampi, one of my all time favorites! I'll be so happy when I can afford fresh shrimp, but for now, frozen works perfectly! I'm loving my life right now, and am so thankful and blessed for my family, my friends, and my boyfriend who all mean the world to me. Now, it's really time to relax and pick my feet up. Have a good night everyone :)

The Start of a Journey

Well I had a blog before that I only did 3 posts for and forgot about it.. I was trying to do a nutrition blog because that was the direction I was heading. I had a hard time writing about and pursuing a career in an area I didn't follow myself. I LOVE food, it's my life and what I think about the majority of my day, but I love it's complexity, its flexibility, and its enormous potential. I don't believe that that should be limited, yes indulgences should be sporadic, but shouldn't be considered a punishment which I believe most "healthy" people few them as, weaknesses. So now, I decided to come back, but just to be me, and my everyday life and loves and share them with whoever wants to listen :) I love my life, my family, my boyfriend, my friends and this wonderful journey I'm on. I also look forward to sharing with those around me, the adventures of my life ahead.
